Laser-cut hydrangea petals were spray painted and attached to a wire frame to create full,
3D blossoms.

Photo negatives of leaves and hydrangea blossoms were cut and prepped.
My home garage was converted into a darkroom for cyanotype chemical prep, and fabric panels were left to dry for next-day development in the sun.

Once developed, the fabric panels were rinsed out and dried again, then cut to create smaller, pixelated panels for the window design.

Several panels were dyed with a subtle pink and supplemental plain-blue panels were added. Small wall-based hydrangea petals were added as well.

A paint wash was added to the window glass and canvas was added to the floor to add depth throughout the entirety of the window space.

The puzzle bear (and bunny!) were jig-sawed out of composite board. The base was painted black to create depth between the puzzle pieces. The puzzle pieces were attached and painted/stamped. Wood veneer was added to the edges to create the look of a thick, 3D puzzle.
Picture
Picture
The "Be Present" Signage and letters was sent to stores raw, and was painted, assembled, and installed in-house. Wrapping paper was hand-painted in patterns that resembled board games to accompany presents that match
the Be Present Window.
Picture
This concept would NOT have been possible without Sophia Emler, who painted the base coats of our puzzle bunny, painted and stamped 90% of Camper the Bear, and painted THE ENTIRETY of the Be Present sign. It was a crazy holiday season and I needed all the help I could get to pull this off.

A wood back and front piece were added to an antique sled to create a more substantial, structured piece.

The snowy trees on the art wall were painted to resemble the freestanding faux Christmas trees.

Each Christmas present was hand-painted with a different design and ribbon-wrapped with varied ribbons and yarn in a cohesive color scheme.

A special thanks to Sophia Emler for being my window glass queen, for painting the gift envelopes, AND for ribbon-wrapping all the packages!

The concept table was covered in denim fabric and upcycled jeans in a patchwork design.

The Rothko-inspired art wall was partially re-painted blue to accent the denim product.

Harvest Table and Candle Shop | Anthropologie Naperville

The Harvest Table concept was designed as an extension of the Front-Of-Store leaves display. A canvas runner was dyed with the same treatment as the FOS leaves, and the gold leaves from the previous fall season were reused to create depth within our display cabinets.

The adjoining candle shop was decorated with gilded tree stumps and colorful logs to highlight the fall tree/forest theme of the season.

The stumps were taped off and sprayed with gold spray paint for an elevated look.

(RIP to the colony of carpenter ants that were flushed out of these stumps for this display.)
